Our new library is officially open!
Pupils and staff came together to celebrate the official opening of our brand new library!
Created in collaboration with , the library has been thoughtfully designed to go beyond traditional bookshelves. It features a wide range of books, sensory elements, comfortable seating, communication boards, and quiet zones, making it a truly inclusive environment where every learner can feel at home.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Headteacher John Steward. After the ribbon was cut, pupils eagerly explored the space.
John Steward said:
“We鈥檙e excited to introduce our brand-new library – a vibrant and welcoming space that reflects the central role reading plays in our school community. Designed to inspire curiosity and provide a calm, inviting atmosphere, the new library offers the perfect setting for learners to immerse themselves in our exciting new collection of books. Our pupils are already enjoying the space, and we look forward to every class making the most of it when the new term begins in September.”
