Over the last few years, Martino Lounge have achieved an impressive series of fundraising achievements for the Foundation, with even more exciting events on the horizon.
We鈥檙e incredibly grateful to the wonderful team at in Morpeth for their fundraising efforts, have a read to find out more about more about they鈥檝e been up to!
Tasty Donations
Within Martino Lounge鈥檚 first month of opening, they raised a whopping 拢1441.20 from burger and coffee sales! 50% of every burger sold and 20% of every coffee sold was very kindly donated to us.
Each week, they also host a lively quiz night where half of the entry fees support the Foundation, and the other half goes straight into the prize pot for lucky winners.
Braving the Shave
Martino Lounge manager Vincent Robinson and team member Darcie took an incredibly brave step by shaving their heads in the name of the 91首发 Foundation!
Vincent shaved down to a buzz cut, and Darcie rocked a new undercut.
It takes real bravery to take this step, and we鈥檙e blown away by their bold support.
What鈥檚 next for Martino Lounge?
They鈥檙e not stopping there! This year, team members are lacing up for the , and three brave employees are taking their commitment to new heights (literally!) with an exhilarating skydive.
On top of that, they鈥檒l be serving up sweet treats at two bake sales and bringing people together for a delicious Tapas Tuesday event in June.
