Being Hive certified means we’re doing more than just sending out surveys. It means we’re building a culture where every voice is heard, and real change happens because of it. After our most recent Hive survey, we took a good, hard look at what our teams were telling us—and we responded.

Investing in Growth: Learning, Development & Career Pathways
In 2025, through the 91Ê×·¢ Academy, we’ve invested nearly £500,000 into training and apprenticeship qualifications—ranging from Adult Care Worker and Occupational Therapist to Teacher, Finance, and HR Assistant roles. This investment isn’t just about ticking boxes—it’s about unlocking potential.
Currently, over 20 staff members are actively enrolled in professional development programmes, with many more on the way. This cohort represents a £120,000 investment in future talent. By offering apprenticeship routes, we’re not only growing our own—but also creating new roles that bring fresh faces and new ideas into the Foundation.
A Culture of Continuous Learning
But that’s just the beginning. We’ve committed:

£185,000 to essential mandatory training—to stay compliant and confident in our everyday work.

Another £190,000 to support a range of learning opportunities to help ensure continuous professional development, coaching, mentoring etc meaning we keep the quality of our services at the highest possible standards.
Over the past year alone, we’ve delivered 253 face-to-face training events, with more than 2,000 attendees—all helping to shape a stronger, more empowered 91Ê×·¢ community.
