Cinema/Theatre Discounts.

It鈥檚 important for those with additional needs to access theatres and cinemas like everyone else. Over the last few years individual theatres have their own access arrangements whereby you need to register with them. I have tried to include as many as I can think of locally. I start with the cinema, yes I know it鈥檚 a repeat.

CEA Card: Cinema Exhibitors Association.

I have shared recently but felt it had a place in this section too. The card is available to those over the age of 5 with proof of disability. It costs 拢6 for a year and enables a carer to attend free of charge.

Every family鈥檚 Christmas looks different, and that鈥檚 okay. The most important thing is finding a rhythm that works for you, whether that鈥檚 a quiet day at home, spreading activities out over the month, skipping wrapping paper, or serving nuggets instead of turkey.

Your child鈥檚 comfort comes first.

THIS WEEKEND, Blyth and Tyne Model Railway Society are holding a Gala Weekend at their club rooms in North Shields.

North Tyneside Council have confirmed Free Parking on weekends throughout December..

AND in addition to the gala weekend. The Victorian Christmas Market is also happening this weekend in the town.

I want to start by thanking the parent of one of our students, Nicola Short for her incredible support over the last few weeks. I know not everyone can volunteer, but felt I needed to acknowledge her input, donations, time and great ideas. I simply could not have achieved what I have done without her support.

Volunteers

We will have a raffle at the Christmas fayre on Thursday 18^th December and would appreciate donations of raffle prizes or anything we can use to make up some lovely hampers. Thanks to those who have sent in donations; they are greatly appreciated. We will also have a form of lucky dip.

Volunteers needed as follows:

• Monday 8^th December from 09.30 to decorate the Christmas Grotto.
• Tuesday 16^th December 13.30-15.00 to help with FoPHS table at Lower School Christmas event
• Thursday 18^th December 13.30-15.00 to help with the Christmas fayre

100 Club.

We would love to increase the uptake of the 100 club, which currently has 24 subscribers. Forms will be available at the Christmas events. Final round-up on the Great North Run 2025

Delighted to inform everyone that the total raised by Team Robinson for FoPHS was 拢864. Thanks to the parents and staff who sponsored my husband Richard and daughter Aisling.

Donation: The 拢1700 donated by the family of a former member of staff is being used to cover class appropriate activities in the run up to Christmas. Each student has been allocated 拢10. We hope they enjoy whatever is planned and are grateful to Malcolm, Kelly and Abbie for thinking of us at this time.
